Erie High School is expecting a huge freshmen class for the 2018-2019 school year and we need responsible, respectful, reliable upperclassmen to help these freshmen transition to high school, welcome them to Erie High School, and show them everything our school has to offer. Do you think you have what it takes to be an Erie High Link Leader?
Being a Link Leader is an amazing opportunity and provides you with valuable experience (plus it is a lot of fun!). By being a Link Leader you will gain valuable leadership experience, which is great for job, college, and scholarship applications. You will be seen as a responsible and respected mentor in our school. At the end of a successful year of being a Link Leader, you will receive a letter of recommendation highlighting your leadership skills that you can use for applications, resumes, etc.
What characteristics do we look for in Link Leaders?
Leadership
Organization
Reliability
Responsibility
Positive Attitude
Friendliness
Willingness to try new things
Cooperation
Tiger Spirit and Erie Pride!
Remember you do not have to excel at all of these characteristics, everyone can improve in areas. No one is perfect! The freshmen class is very diverse. They have diverse interest, needs, and backgrounds. Therefore, we are seeking Link Leaders with different interest and backgrounds. Do you participate in athletics? Do you belong to any of the various clubs at Erie High School? Are you a musician? Do you act in our drama performances (or are you a stage tech)? Do you speak a foreign language? Are you an artist?
